- Run by the students

- Takes place in Invercargill SIT campus

- Any unique/controversial content to discuss. (pertinent or current issues that matter to people)

Heading/headline

Opening paragraph

- Catch their interest

- Purple Cow theory (point of difference)

- Quotes make your media release more relatable

- Quotes from people with influence may make people want to come

- Keep it to one page

- Keep it in 3rd person (quote can be 1st person)

- Write it like a reporter would

- Date it so they know when it was created

- Use "End" to indicate the end of the information you want published, for when you are including contact details

- Always include a relevant image when possible(people involved with the event)
