Photography 2/8

After inverting and patching the fingerprint, I can see potential in the photo after all. Identifying the building going straight up on the right hand side helps to clarify that the image is looking directly up.  At this point I am not going to change the hole size, but I think I should take a new test photo in better lighting, a more open area and with the tin in a more stable position. The lighter grey suggests that there was actually light hitting the outside edges, and just needs some tweaking to get the conditions right.

Right now I need to come up with a concept for my project, that incorporates positive/negative spaces. Im a little lost at this point in regards to ideas. Possibly a dark townscape, using printed designs in the shadows? Digital or physical construction? Digital means easy corrections, blending, the ability to create several different compositions with the same images but physical means i can use the actual prints themselves, creating contrasting textures, can draw directly onto the images with pen/pencil.
